Tiddalick, 2023
Jaffel, Kalkadoon people
Tiddalick was the largest frog in the world. One warm morning he woke up very thirsty so he drank and drank until all the water in the billabong was gone. When the other animals arrived, there was no water left for them.
They decided they needed to make Tiddalick laugh so that all the water would come spilling back out of him. The echidna, the wombat and the kookaburra tried to make him laugh but Tiddalick didn't laugh. He just sat there with his belly full of water.
Then the snake had a try, dancing and wriggling so much that she tied herself into a knot and got stuck! Tiddalick started to chuckle and then he let out a huge belly laugh. The water gushed out of his mouth and filled up the billabong. The other animals jumped for joy and drank their fill.

Jakobs Day
The Jakob’s Day Charity Golf Day is all about having fun and a few laughs for a good cause. The genesis of the day was Lou and Anna’s family’s desire to honour their son Jakob’s memory, who tragically passed away in 2000 at the age of nine months after a short illness.
It’s goal is to do so by supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, and is now in its 16th year.
